The beginning of your search for engineering employment is a degree in engineering. Even entry-level jobs require a solid understanding of the requirements of technical jobs. Once you have acquired skills in the engineering process, it's important to include these, complete with examples, in your resume. If you're just starting your career, don't be afraid to use examples from school projects or apprenticeships. As you gain experience and knowledge, you can replace these examples with real world experience.
